Summary
ATS, a leading language and intelligence services company, is seeking language-enabled intelligence professionals to support the collection, translation, processing, exploitation, analysis, and production of foreign language material to support a wide range of U.S. Federal agencies. Successful candidates thrive in fast paced, high impact roles and work as part of a diverse team of individuals with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Most positions provide the opportunity to travel to both domestic and foreign locations.



ATS employees directly support Federal clients in dynamic work environments across the globe. ATS is an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company that provides each employee an equity stake in the company's success and growth. Our employees provide Federal clients a comprehensive set of language, all-source analysis, collection support, targeting, exploitation, production, and reporting services.

Responsibilities
Depending on the position, a linguist may provide any or all the following services in any given day:



-Read, write, and/or speak proficiently in a foreign language and English

-Translate general and technical material to and from the target language and English while maintaining the integrity and meaning of the original material

-Provide interpretation between source language and English in a variety of settings

-Provide summaries/gists in an efficient, easily digestible format

-Scan and monitor material in both the target language and English

-Edit and provide quality control on linguist products

-Scan large amounts of material and triage material for processing

-Create and format graphics and tables for presentation

-Collect and select items from published, online, and broadcast media

-Write reports and analyses highlighting trends, patterns, and relationships and offer supported judgments

-Conduct workflow, assigning and tracking tasks of team members

-Blog or conduct content management of websites drawing from linguist and cultural knowledge

-Provide language training, teaching both basic and specialized vocabulary

ATS’ federal customers are seeking officers with varying languages including:



Arabic

Ukrainian

Spanish

Serbo-Croatian

Khmer


Requirements
Conditions of Employment
-U.S. Citizenship

-Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance, preferably with a polygraph

-Score ILR 3 or higher in translation and/or speaking and listening in a foreign language and English

-U.S. military or foreign residence experience preferred
