Duties
Summary
Will be responsible for the following:



1. Facilitates and enhances communications between the participants and the greater NESA region communities regarding programs and handling of participants.



2. Oversees the synchronization of NESA protocol requirements for domestic and international events.



3. Supports programs by managing participants during programs conducted at NESA Center, virtual for distance learning, and at overseas locations.



4. Provide management support to the NESA Center senior management regarding the handling and management of all participant program activities to include supervision of staff.



5. Develop protocol and participant plans and programs to accomplish these efforts through effective and efficient business practices.



6. Support NESA’s programs plan integration efforts by coordinating all activities with the event planner, manager, registrar, and IT functions.



7. Participate in integrating the international outreach program of NESA by enhancing relationships with academic institutions, think tanks and foreign government representatives as required; develops and maintains NESA”s relationships with participating countries to facilitate program interaction, especially with priority countries as determined by NESA; provides substantive guidance and advice to staff and faculty to prepare for visits of international delegations and officials to NESA; senior coordinator for all NESA top priority visits; works with staff and faculty to plan, organize and host conferences at NESA.

Requirements
Conditions of Employment
Master’s degree. Arabic language skills highly desired.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of proven experience as a participant programs manager with NESA region members to include experience in planning and conducting outreach activities, and experience integrating support into events; proven track record of interpersonal skills to interact with senior personnel, diplomats and embassies; experience coordinating programs, conducting administrative briefings and coordinating technical planning to support programs; proven effective verbal and written communication skills. Must have proven management experience of personnel conducting participant program activities.
