Summary
The Defense Support Services Center (DSSC), within the Personnel Readiness Management Agency (PRMA), provides direct program and policy support to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (ASD(M&RA)). DSSC was established to consolidate oversight of programs supporting Service members, civilian employees, and their families. This position is located in Portfolio Management in the Front Office, DSSC. The incumbent is responsible for executing requirements related to program management, evaluating administrative program effectiveness, and assisting in the development and implementation of program revisions or new programs to meet the goals and mission requirements of the center.
Responsibilities
Serves as the administrative liaison for IT-related actions, tracks IT support tickets, and creates standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine administrative processes.
Provides administrative tracking, scheduling, and project management support for assigned projects, including managing a division-wide project log and reporting status to management.
Coordinates with the DSSC policy office to evaluate the impact of changing business needs on regulations and analyzes projects against business requirements to provide recommendations to leadership.
Tracks programmatic spending plans and resource data, identifies potential schedule or resource risks, and raises them to leadership with recommendations for mitigation.
