Duties
Summary
In this position, the incumbent will be assisting the Regional Exercise Officer with the development, administration, and execution of Regional Exercises.
Responsibilities
Typical assignments include:
• Compiling input from key stakeholders and other senior leadership to develop annual regional exercises by developing Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program compliant, key exercise program documents.
• Facilitating exercise planning meetings and tabletop exercises.
• Developing briefing products and slides to assist in the execution of exercise meetings.
• Developing monthly reports for the Regional Action Matrix.
• Assisting with data collection from Regional exercises when requested.

SF-50 and DD-214

HIRING AUTHORITY

The Department of Homeland Security will utilize the Schedule A (r) and/or NDAA’13 hiring authorities afforded to all NSEP award recipients with outstanding service requirements to make appointments to this position in the excepted service. NSEP award recipients who have already completed their service requirement to NSEP in full are not eligible to apply.
